These Terms and Conditions govern your use of techforgoodsummit.co.uk operated by Tech for Good Summit. By accessing or using the Site you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to use the Site or purchase tickets. You are responsible for ensuring that access and use are lawful where you are located.
Nature of our service
The Site provides information about the Tech for Good Summit and may offer services such as ticketing, scheduling, newsletters, and partner resources. We do not provide legal, financial, or professional advice. Where we link to third-party platforms (e.g., ticketing, payments, streaming, accommodation), your use of those services is governed by the third party’s terms and policies.
Acceptance of terms
Your use of the Site constitutes acceptance of these Terms and any policies referenced here (including our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy). We may update the Terms from time to time; the “Last updated” date shows when changes take effect. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
Accounts, newsletters & communications
If the Site offers accounts, subscriptions, or newsletters, you agree to:
- provide accurate, current information;
- keep credentials confidential; and
- promptly update any changes.
You may unsubscribe from emails at any time via the link provided in each message.
Ticketing, registrations & refunds
Where ticketing or registration is available:
- Purchases may be processed by third-party providers subject to their terms and fees.
- Transfer/refund policies will be displayed during checkout or in your confirmation. Unless stated otherwise, tickets are non-refundable except where required by law.
- We may change event formats, speakers, sessions, venues, or timings (including moving to a virtual or hybrid format). In the event of cancellation or material change, remedies will be as stated in the applicable ticketing terms.
Event changes and access
We may modify the agenda, speakers, capacity, health & safety rules, or access controls at our discretion. We may refuse or revoke access (including digital access) to protect safety, security, or to enforce these Terms.
Intellectual property
All content on the Site—including text, logos, graphics, photos, video, audio, code, and design—is owned by us or used with permission and is protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access the Site for lawful personal or internal business use. You may not copy, modify, distribute, mirror, scrape, train models on, or create derivative works from Site content except as permitted by law or with our written permission.
User submissions & community conduct
If you submit feedback, comments, reviews, proposals, images, or other material (“Submissions”), you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual licence to use, reproduce, modify, and display such Submissions for Site operation, event promotion, and improvement. Do not submit content that is unlawful, defamatory, infringing, harmful, discriminatory, or that includes others’ personal data without consent. We may moderate or remove Submissions at our discretion.

You agree not to:
- violate any applicable law or regulation;
- attempt unauthorised access, test vulnerabilities, or interfere with security;
- use automated tools to harvest data except via a documented public API;
- upload malware or disrupt Site performance;
- impersonate any person or misrepresent your affiliation;
- link to the Site in a misleading, harmful, or defamatory manner.
Information accuracy
We aim to keep information current and accurate. We do not guarantee that information is complete, error-free, or fit for a particular purpose. Always verify third-party offers, schedules, and policies before acting.
Third-party links & services
Links, embeds, or integrations may lead to third-party websites or tools (e.g., ticketing, payments, video hosts, social media). We do not control these services and are not responsible for their content or practices. Your use of third-party services is at your own risk and subject to their terms.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tech for Good Summit is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profits, loss of data, or loss arising from your use of—or reliance on—the Site or event changes. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to one hundred pounds sterling.
